Dear Leighla Marie,

Hi Baby girl, it has been a couple weeks since I have written to you. We have had a couple doctors appointments and all is going well, you are growing just as you should.Moving all the time still.

Your shower is only 3 days away and you will be getting lots and lots of cute things I am sure! I can't wait. 

Time is ticking by so fast and by the time we know it you will be here with us to cuddle and love.

Daddy and I love you so much already, we cannot wait til you are here with us. Daddy Bought you your first Sabres Jersey today, so you are all set. Little girl you are destined to be a Sabres Fan, It's in your blood, as well as a yankees fan, so get used to Blue and Gold and Navy Blue Pinstripes.

You will have plenty of girly things also I am sure. You are going to be one stylin little girl.

Dear Leighla Marie,

Hi Baby, it's mommy again. As I am writing this you are moving around in my tummy. You move all the time now and I can not only feel you move but see you move around.

But I think it is great that you move around so much it puts mommy's worry at ease, knowing your growing and progressing as you should.

Even if you prefer to start at 5 am.. Baby girl, your going to be active, but that is just fine with us.

In a little over a month I will be having your Baby Shower, It seems that I just found out you existed and here we are more then half way through. We should be getting alot of much needed stuff for you. Alot of cute things that me and daddy picked out just for you.

I can't wait to see. and it will be nice catching up with all my family and friends. You will have alot of little playmates and cousins around your age. So finding someone to play with as you get older will never be a problem. 

We are getting more and more excited for your arrival as the days pass. You will defiantly be one loved little girl that is for sure. You enjoy hearing your daddy talk to you. At least we think so, as he kisses my tummy and talks to you before he leaves for work everyday, you kick up a storm to let him know you are listening. 

You are going to have 2 kitties as pets. They are very nice cats, and I am sure you will have a lot of fun with them as you grow. unfortunately you will never get to know our beloved Vision, But he was the best cat of all.  He would have loved you, as he loved us so much and we loved him.

Dear Leighla Marie,

This weekend Daddy and I went and registered for baby stuff for our shower in November. I  do have to tell you we picked out some adorable stuff. It did take us almost 3 hours, but me and daddy had a blast looking at all the stuff you could have.

We looked at your crib and are still trying to decide which one to get. But either one we pick out I know you will love. 

You are going to be one stylish little girl, your daddy has a great fashion sense and he picked out some adorable outfits for you. I can't wait til our shower to see what we get. Then me and daddy can go out and pick some stuff up. We did buy you your first Snowsuit though, It is pink with Winnie the Pooh on it.

Adorable if I do say so myself. Since you will be born in January and it will be cold we have to make sure you will be nice and warm when we bring you home. You will have a array of Pink and Brown items, seems that is the color theme that we have picked out the most, and it is quite cute.

We have changed our minds on your room colors again, who knows we may change it again.lol

It went from Winnie the Pooh Colors, to Pink,brown and light green colors. Winnie the Pooh will still be your Theme, but the colors will be a bit brighter then just red and a honeyish color.

You are a moving machine these days little one, Keep it up, I love to feel you move. And daddy loves it too when you cooperate for him.lol.. He loves you as do I more then you know. As do both your Grandma's who are going to spoil you rotten. Just know baby girl there will be limits though. We want you to grow up with all you want, but no sense of entitlement, you can't always have what you want. But we will give you all we can to make you happy and encourage you to do all you love in life.

You are going to be our pride and joy, you already are and you are not even close to being born yet.

So keep growing and keep kicking or punching or dancing or whatever you are doing in there..

Dear Leighla Marie,

Look at that Baby Girl you officially have a name now. Miss Leighla Marie we love you so much. This week you are officially "Half-Baked" you still have 20 more weeks of growing and "baking" to do before you are allowed to be born though, and mommy and daddy have a lot to do before your arrival, so just sit tight and grow big and strong.

Mama's belly is getting bigger with each week, you are growing nice and big just like you should. We had our ultra sound last week and you are perfect. Stubborn already. he he.. But that's ok. You are very active lately, I feel your little movements several times a day now. But that is ok, I love feeling you move around inside me. It is amazing that I have you growing in my belly. 

Daddy Talks to you everyday before he leaves work, you will defiantly know his voice when you are born. He loves you more then you know. As do I. I got your ultrasound pics uploaded finally so here are a couple of your first pictures..

 There you are at 19 weeks, though you are a week older by now, Next week on the 19th we have your next doctors appointment and we will hear your little heartbeat again. It is a joy to hear that everytime. Then we go to the doctors every 2 weeks instead of every 4, which means it is getting closer and closer to your due date. We are excited and nervous all at once.. 

In a couple months we will have your baby shower where a ton of people you do not even know will be giving mommy and daddy gifts for you. You are going to be one lucky little girl. You already have some hair bows and pink girly things.

I hope you like Pooh Bear little one, because me and daddy have decided that is what the theme of your nursery will be, and we are painting your room the color of Pooh Bear. I am sure it will look amazing when we are done.

Dear Baby .. 19 weeks

Dear Baby,

Today me and daddy found out your gender, we were anxiously awaiting this day for weeks. So Baby,I can now call you Baby Girl!  We are so excited to finally know, and boy let me tell you, you are an active little thing. Moving all around. 

Baby Girl you are loved more then you know and you are not even born yet. Just wait until you meet your Grandma's they are both going to spoil you rotten, but we will keep you humble as well. You will be this whole families little princess. 

Me and Daddy are already throwing around names and we think we are going to name you Leyla Marie. I hope you like that, we sure do. Though we may make it hard on you and spell it a little different. We love you so much already. It was so cool seeing your little arms and hands and legs moving all over. I can hardly believe you are there in my belly, growing and getting stronger by the day.

I have started feeling your little kicks and punches which is crazy and you love to move around that is for sure. We are in trouble if you are this active when you are born too. I can't wait to dress you up in all the cute little girl outfits. Hair bows and all so get ready for those. You may not like them at first but you will get used to it. We already have some adorable little socks from your grandma's and Daddy has bought you your first little stuffed animal, a small pink unicorn.

Our next appointment with the doctor is in 2 weeks, and we will learn more about you, but so far you are healthy and perfect. Just keep growing like you should and we will see you in January. You will have lots of little playmates around your age and all girls so far. So no worries you will never be lonely.

8 Weeks 5 days

I recently found out that I am pregnant with my first child. I am currently 8 weeks,5 days along.

Due to some issues last year that did not turn out well, I got my first Ultrasound at my first visit to be sure all was well. and so far all looks good.

We are very excited for our first baby.. I have another appointment in 2 weeks to be sure everything is  progressing well then we will go every 4 weeks after that. 

This is going to be a private blog for now, until we are ready to tell the world. This is mainly for my records so I can remember what this first pregnancy was like and can one day show our little Jelly bean.

Not sure why it is sideways.. but there is our little 8 week Jelly Bean.. the heatbeat was strong. I cannot wait for our next appointment, then we are going to tell everyone! 

I am so excited this journey is finally beginning for us.. we will be great parents.
